Guest guest
Hello all, I had a request to make a perfume with sandalwood, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and citrus notes. I added rosemary, cedar, pine, pettigrain, and a touch of mint, vanilla, and patchouli. I am thrilled with the outcome with one exception, the eucalyptus vanishes in the first minute or so. Is this normal or do I have a bad oil? Is there any good fixative for eucalyptus? Thanks for the help...... Norm

I also played with changing the eucalyptus/lemon a little at a time for lemongrass, but I got a room freshener instead of perfume. (it did last though). I think I failed to say that the one I liked (apart from the poor duration) is a solid perfume. Anyone have any other tricks to prolong eucalyptus?Thanks..... Norm ..
