The turkish storax is really nice, not so chemical as other types I have smelled, this has a carmel note , still has an edge of " fume " to it, but that makes it interesting in a blend. Have you used Tolu for an amber vanilla note? it goes well with Labdanum - very sweet and brown sugery.
