I don't know Coffee, but I use Cocoa and Honey usually with Vanilla and Tangerine, for a perfume for children (or for someone who needs a SWEET hug!!) For adults, I add Cinnamon (bark, or leaves, that's better) Clove and some flower (Jasminum, or Neroli).

What special > combinations or unique applications have you found? > I don't tend to favor edibles over any other ingredients, per se. However, that being said, I do really enjoy them. I have quite a few, in many forms, including tinctures. My edibles include cacao, coffee, butter, vanilla, coconut, raspberry, fenugreek, saffron, cilantro, I could go on for a long time... Favorites? Depends on the day. Sometimes I could just curl up in my cacao or coffee forever. Other days I'm all over my vanillas. Is it just me, or does anyone else have a butter CO2 that smells more like cheese? I still use my edibles with other ingredients that are non-edibles. I've not singled them out to be in all-edible blends, Why? Well, then one would want to eat them, right? So why smell like something to eat and then not be? Not that I'm against smelling edible. But there's the scent and then there's the real thing. : ) (Has anyone seen " Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? " http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078488/) I've also yet to come up with a " unique application " for them. Time. I need more time in a day... I'm really getting into the food notes, but coffee didn't work at all in this perfume. The vanilla/chocolate with an animalic accord in the base is to die for. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden http://AnyasGarden.com - perfumes, aromatics, classes, consultation Natural Perfumers Guild + blog with daily updates http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.blogspot.com 1600+ member Natural Perfumery group - http://health./group//
