Guest guest
generally cleaners i've made with citrus blends or even woody scents for that 'incense' effect and sadly, bleach.....i like my bathroom and kitchen to smell like a light solution of bleach is used. In between, i have my home mady lysol......adam, you just gave me an idea......wood holds scent......a nice resinous out doors type scent would work so well, i'm thinking cedar at the moment tho i do i have fir balsam or fir and balsam.....drat, can't remember. evie oh, sorry for those on digest, i know know how this laptop works and i've yet found a way to copy and paste....... Guest guest
As you find yourself cleaning up after holiday festivities, what scents put you in a " cleaning " sort of mood? Which do you consider cleansing and why? Citrus, lavender, and cedarwood I like to use for cleansing. As for getting me in the mood to clean, I hate cleaning so much, nothing will get me in the mood to clean!
Guest guest
Lavender strikes me as quintessentially clean. So do tea tree and eucalyptus, though I don't really like that type of smell.

Both are taken from the peel of the fruit. I also like peppermint terpenes to deodorize my bathroom and my dog's room. Guest guest
cant do the tea tree or pine.....i had a step gramma who had ocd and pinesol'd every bit of furniture in her house and afterward sprayed her hands with lysol.....took me three years to get the pine sol out of the china cabinet......to this day either of those products gag me. i can do the rest, mints, citrus , cedar, - lavender, not a fan of that and tea tree stinks....fresh is more my style thus a light solution of bleach....that = no germs to me.....but it has to be light. e
Guest guest
Nothing like a frankincense fumigation to really clean up the vibe.. BTW - Just got a new shipment of Hougary incense and 2 kilos of Chios Mastic, they will be up on the Mermade site this week. both are really good for that new year home blessing. The body soon dissolv'd, and all around Perfum'd with heav'nly fragrancies the ground, A sacrifice for Gods up-rose from thence, A sweet, delightful tree of frankincense.
