Guest guest
Wow! Your results are awesome! When did you start your first challenge? Did you do them back to back? You made so much progress, it's amazing! You have some awesome definition in your upper body. If you don't mind me asking, what are your numerical stats? Where did you start? Congratulations! > > Sunday I finished my second corporate challenge by wrapping things up > with picture taking. I'm pleased with my results... loving the muscle > definition I've achieved. Guest guest
Thanks! I started my first challenge on January 17, 2005 and have pretty much done several of them back to back (with a week or two between some of them). I continue to set 12 week goals over and over because it helps me focus and gives me something to reach for. My stats: I'm 5'11 (that hasn't changed..lol). Started at 239 lbs and 39% body fat. I'm now at 162 lbs and 20.1% body fat. I started in a size 20 and now wear a size 10! > > > > Sunday I finished my second corporate challenge by wrapping things > up > > with picture taking. Guest guest
Outstanding! Congratulations on your extremely successful challenges, and for sharing your transformation. You are beautiful! Guest guest
Oh my God you look GREAT! Way to go! Were you taking Creatine or anything before your progress pics? Would love to hear any of your tips Thanks! > > Wow, what a change! Guest guest
Nette - this is awesome. Thanks for reminding us of the earlier photo album; such progress and change. Have you progressed with non-body number related goals as well? n > > Now I'm just being a nerd and replying to my own posts... but if you're > interested, I have pictures from a previous challenge also > posted, " Nette's totally awesome BFL journey. Guest guest
YOU LOOK AMAZING! Congratulations! Wow, I am shocked by your transformation. Pat yourself on the back....and then make your way to the beach in a bikini. ;-)
Guest guest
In my most recent 12 weeks I used Muscle Armor early on and then switched to Betagen toward the end. For me, following the BFL program is what works. I don't count calories, I don't really add extra cardio... I just make sure each day counts and that they're successful. And if I have a bad day, I put it behind me and move on. > > > The pics are in the photo section of this group. > > > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------- -------- > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thanks n! And yes, thanks for asking... the changes on the outside are really reflections of what happens on the inside. Each 12 weeks I make goals and make sure at least one of them has nothing to do with my physical transformation. I've become active in the church again, I'm pursuing my Master's degree and actively working toward networking and moving ahead at work. I've committed to being a success coach with 2 people I've introduced to the program and meet and/or keep in touch with them weekly. My next endeavor is to find a community outreach program that I feel passionate about to pour some of my new found energy into! > > > > Now I'm just being a nerd and replying to my own posts... but if > you're > > interested, I have pictures from a previous challenge also > > posted, " Nette's totally awesome BFL journey. Guest guest
You've made me smile from ear to ear! THIS is what makes these boards so much fun. Honestly, I looked at your beginning pics first, and wasnt prepared for the transformation you accomplished in 7 months...it reminds me to stay tuned, have patience because that time is gonna pass anyway! Thank you for sharing your journey! I love the feminine high cheek bones in your face, accompanied by SheRA muscles! :0) Id love to know your physical stats as well! -- > > > > > > Now I'm just being a nerd and replying to my own posts... but if > > you're > > > interested, I have pictures from a previous challenge also > > > posted, " Nette's totally awesome BFL journey. Guest guest
Thanks so much. I really wanted to post my pics in hope that they might be the pick me up someone needed because this board provides me with an extra boost all the time! My very first photo (in the older photo album titled Nette's Total Awesome BFL journey) was taken in January of 2005. So it's taken me about 16 months total. I'm 5'11 and started at 239 lbs., 39% bodyfat and size 20. Today I'm still 5'11 and 162 w/ 20.1% body fat. I'll have to pull out my beginning inches and share... just don't have them on hand at the moment! > > > > > > > > Now I'm just being a nerd and replying to my own posts... but if > > > you're > > > > interested, I have pictures from a previous challenge also > > > > posted, " Nette's totally awesome BFL journey. Guest guest
I was so blown away by your transformation that I put the photos side by side just to see them myself. WOW! Very, very impressive! I went ahead and put the side-by-side comparison in your folder for you. Hope that's ok. It's nice to be able to see how far you've come without navigating through 's lovely folder arrangement. :-) Keep up the good work. Guest guest
Thanks , for both the compliments and the organizational help. I tend to be a little impetuous and just dumped the photos in! It's amazing I've been able to navigate through BFL with my organizational skills (or lack there of). Just goes to show if you want it bad enough you can overcome anything! > > Sunday I finished my second corporate challenge by wrapping things up > > with picture taking. Guest guest
That is an awesome transformation!!!! You look great. I wish I could get to that point. I have over 100 pounds to lose and it seems so far fetched. I just can't seem to stick with anything. I start out good then just give up. I am having problems right now with my thyroid and have to see an endocrinologist this month, it seems so hard to lose no matter what I do. I really need encouragement to get started. I have everything I need at my house to work out. I have been listening to the BFL audio tapes today to get started. Sha -- Re: Finished! Guest guest
Hi Shana, Thanks for the compliments. I've lost 77 lbs...not all that far from 100! I'd strongly recommend reading Jami's post to . It's so important to change the way you think about yourself. Positive affirmations. Wanna know what I did... I lied to myslef...I lied to myself every single day of this journey. Heck, I even wrote my lie down and made myself read it every day. And then I started to believe the lie and before I knew it, it wasn't a lie it was the truth! My lie to myself was: " I am so happy and thankful now that I am healthy, confident and strong. I am at 19% body fat. I am at 160 pounds. I wear a comfortable size 10. " Until you change your mindset you'll always believe you're that fat girl, or that you're just big boned. It sets you up for self sabotage. Believe that you have it inside of you and you will. And until you believe it, lie!! > > > > > > > > Sunday I finished my second corporate challenge by wrapping > > things up > > > > with picture taking.
