Anya's Perfume & Ambergris Giveaway!

I was blessed to be the winner of Anya's fabulous giveaway. This weekend I

received the precious package containing samples of Anya's " Kaffir " , " Temple " ,

" Fairchild " , " Pan " , and RiverCali " , as well as her ambergris tincture. It has

been very difficult to pick my

favorite...I love them all!

Each one a truly exquisite work of art.

Yesterday I wore " Temple " and was delightfully surprised to read that the TOTD

for yesterday, 122208, came from Anya and was entitled " Calm and Focus. " I love

" Temple " for the sense of peace, calm and focus it brought me. I found it to be

a perfume perfectly

suited for times of prayer. For me, Oud possesses a powerful spiritual

dimension. It is also my favorite aromatic.

Today I am wearing " Fairchild " and the affect is something quite different

indeed...oooohhh, la, la...love it.

Each of Anya's perfumes are uniquely complex, stunning and gorgeous. So thank

you, Anya! You are truly a gifted perfumer and I am very grateful to have won

your generous giveaway.

PS - I almost forgot to mention the ambergris tincture...Wow. It's really

beautiful and such a thrill to have such a rare and special aromatic in my

posession. I smell the bright, salty sweetness of the ocean, along with deep,

warm, sensual undertones. I have some on a testing strip and each time I pass

it I can't resist giving it a sniff. I look forward to

eventually composing a perfume with this beauty. Thanks again Anya!
