How are things? Do you have any news about the situation in Portugal? I

Dear Liane

My brother Filipe was released on Monday and my mum collected him.

There is no place at the clinic for Filipe as they did not believe he

had a mental problem. Did not find him aggressive (interviewed him

after giving him lots of valium, of course he was calm then!)

For some people, they think is is acceptable and normal to hit your

own mother and sister. What a screwed up society, unless they go

through this direct they do not appreciate what my family has to go

through.

My sister moved out as she said she would but my mum managed to

convince her to come back fortunately.

Filipe has a review at the Clinic in a months time which is to long,

he will take drugs and be agressive before then.

At least there is nothing left in the house for my brother to break,

it is all broken and it will not be replaced.

All my mum and sister can do is to take a day at a time and pray that

he will not become agressive that day.

I wish he moves out soon but I know he will not do by free will. The

system does not allow a solution either.

Thank you for all the prayers for keeping my family safe. The

problem is not solved but at least stabilized. For now.

My mum and sister are very grateful that people all over the world

cared so much and were overhelmed with your response. The energy

certainly made them feel stronger.
