Guest guest
Ok on top of (Lupus or Stills) they haven't gotten back to me yet on which one I have, but I will tell you as soon as I know! I have fibro,Raynaud's Disease and Sjogren's Syndrome. AND NOW they say I have Autoimmune hepatitis?? They took a smooth cell blood test to figure it out?? mine is over 49 so up there so I have this now too. Does it ever end???!!Dr says my liver looks good though we just have to watch me. Does anyone else have this and not know it? It took Upstate University 2 months to get back to me on that test. They say its early stages and I can control it with meds diet and the same stuff as Still/Lupus. Well I had never even heard of autoimmune Hepatitis. On the plus side of my day Im feeling good these last 2 days and I got my first disability check today and I got the cupboards full and paid most of my bills oh what a good feeling for a change! Guest guest
, Glad you have managed to keep the wolf away from the door. Autoimmune Hepatitis just sounds like everything else. Like you might call Sjogrens, Autoimmune " salavitis " since it is your antibodies attacking the salivary glands, among others. We all know that the dragon and wolfie can attack the liver. Hepatitis simply means " inflammation of the liver " . It can be bacterial, chemical, viral and in your case, autoimmune. My spleen is enlarged so I imagine that could be called " autoimmune splenomegaly " . And in the pulmonary world my lungs are known as Autoimmune Pulmonary Fibrosis. Let us all know what the docs say. BTW - If you go to the lab at Upstate to have your blood drawn, ask if Sharon Benedict or Kathy are still there. Have them say Hi from me, Tom Woloszyn. Sharon was in my class many years ago and Kathy worked with me.
