Guest guest Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 Hi all, I am looking for advice on ways to use up my extra raw milk (my husband and I are low carbing in for the next couple of months). I was interested in making yogurt, butter, kefir, sourcream, cheeses, ice cream and whatever else I can manage. Since I have never done any of that stuff yet, I do not have all the neccessary tools/ingredients/items as of yet. What I am wondering is of all these things (other ideas welcomed), which ones would be the cheapest way to use up the extra raw milk without having to go into alot of expense with buying paraphenalia right now? I saw an Ice Cream Maker at WalMart today for $30 and wanted to get that, but it was to small. Where should I start in using up the milk without creating alot of extra expense right now?
