Guest guest
Right now every milk pick up of our organic milk has the following tests: Plate Count Somatic Cell count PI protein butterfat If the dairy does any other tests, they do not send me the results. Prior to going organic, the dairy used to do a monthly culture test to help control mastitis. it included: coliform staph aureus staph species strep ag. non ag strep gram neg (non coliform bacilles) They included an instruction sheet indicating what to do if any of the numbers were too high. This link gives a little bit of an explanation of what all this means. http://pods.dasnr.okstate.edu/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-2021/ANSI-4355web.pdf Thanks Charlie PS: I will be out of town for a week and I do not have a laptop to use on the road.Shed those extra pounds with MSN and The Biggest Loser!
