Guest guest
Hi Phil, I live a close to normal life. Am I as active I used to be - no. Am I fatter than I used to be - yes. DO I require more sleep and downtime - yes. But I do get up every morning and go to work every day and am able to see my friends occasionally. So i consider that a pretty normal life. But it also took years for me to get here. First I went 6 years with no diagnosis. Then I was on meds for 2 1/2 years before they all clicked adn it worked. I've been workign the whole time, luckily I had jobs that I could take off from or work from home. Now I don't and I'm flaring due to being off Kineret or 2 months and it's rough. The main thing is patience, faith in your doctor, and educating yourself. It may take awhile to find meds that work for you. But you have to have hope that you will. Guest guest
Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for your comment Carol. It was really sweet. I know that this whole disease has changed my life forever. And in ways it was for the worse, I can't be young and stupid anymore. But, I think that we all can take it and learn from it. It helped me grow up. And it brought me closer to my mom, who has M.S. and until now I had no idea what she went through everyday. So yes, this disease sucks I guess you could say, but I think if everyone just my opion I don't want to upset anyone could step back maybe one good thing did come out of it. Sorry I guess it's easier for me to look on the brighter side of things then the bad. I hope everyone has a good day, I will be out of town til' Thursday my mom has to have surgery. May everyone be blessed today, Mandy (Wyoming)
