Really? I left

plenty of room, but after it being in there for about a week, I went to get ice

out and noticed it was frozen and the jar was cracked all the way down the jar.

So I had to throw it awayL.

Thank you,

I do freeze in glass and have found there are 2 tricks

to it.

1) Always leave enough head room for expansion

2) release the seal immediately when removing from the freezer for

thawing

We have frozen dozens for shipping without issue.Hi,We buy multiple 1/2 gallon jugs of Organic Pastures milk, a Californiaraw dairy, and I freeze what I can't use in a few days. The jugs swellin the freezer but so far they have not split and the closure hasremained intact.Lou> > > We get gallon jugs from a place in Grand Rapids, MI called Rockford> > Packaging:> >> > http://www.rockfordpack.com/cider_packaging.htm> >> > I'm not sure what their shipping is to other places--we are nottoo far> > from them, and ordering a lot at a time, they deliver for free bytruck to> > our farmer's place.> >> > Peace,> > Kristi> >> >> > * Milk Jugs?> >> > Hi> >> > Does anyone know a source for clear or foggy white(clear) milk jugs?> >> > Thanks, Waynette> >> > > >> > > > -- > Pamela>

I have frozen goat milk in plastic containers in the

past and had no problem. The milk tasted great and I

even made cheese from the goat milk after it had

thawed in the refidgerator.

Have you found a source for plastic jugs? We buy ours from local apple

orchards. Otherwise, I've seen a lots of packaging companies list them

in their catelogs. Good luck. liz
