Just want to share a little with my friends.My grandson is 12 today and he went to the doctor and yipee he has poison ivy! Of course my daughter thought it was an alergy to a new soap and shampoo he's been using.so she put this stuff on him that she said was like vaseline, the completely wrong thing poor kid.She found out that where he went to a bonfire Monday night was full of poison ivy!Live and learn. Did the doctor happen to put him on steriods to help the itching? My sister (she was much older of course) was in a panic when her doctor gave her prednisone for her poison ivy, telling him about how I have to live on it. Of course, for my sister it doesn't take much to make her panic or anxious but it seems, around here at least, that's what all the doctors are using for poison ivy and other plant problems.
