We have a Great Pyr. She is wonderfully messy for most of the year.

About this time we take her to the groomer down the road. For abut $50

she gives our Lucy a crew cut, trims her nails, gives her a flea dip

and does whatever else is the norm. Groomer, Lucy and I are all three

happy campers.

Before we found the groomer and got lazy I'd just cut as much as I

could with shears. The poor darling would look pretty bad for a month

or so but it all grows back in time.
