Hello, My name is Theresa (milkmaid137@...) and I am an organic dairy farmer in Simsbury, CT. My husband milks the cows and I put it in glass bottles. Most of our customers come for the raw milk, and I realized we need to understand the raw food movement better to serve them as best we can. Connecticut has fairly unobstrusive regulations regarding the sale of raw milk, (we can sell to several Whole Foods, smaller health food stores as well as on farm) and we have a good relationship with the local inspectors. We drink a lot of raw milk, but I still feel a little disconnected from some of my customers, which is sad, because I want myself as a farmer and the people I produce food for to be equally invested in creating a just and sustainable food system. I'm hoping to learn more about people who buy our products and provide

some information as to how and why farmers make decisions and produce food. -Theresa
