Guest guest
Does anyone out ther have any knowledge of a product called Kynoselen? My question is this, is it a drug? The ingredients are: HEPTAMINOL SODIUM SELENITE MAGNESIUM ASPARTATE POTASIUM ASPARTATE B-12 It's the Heptaminol I'm most concerened about. sounds like a drug to me. any and all feedback would be most appreciated. if anyone knows of it's validity as a muscle building compound or it's legality, give a shout Robbie Stark St. N.Y. Guest guest
The following was taken from http://musclemonthly.com/home.htm Feb/March issue, 2002 I searched in Yahoo and found over 900 entries for heptaminol, mostly by French, German, etc scientists .. I also found where some cyclists had been banned by the French association for its use and also cases against horse trainers in America and Australia. Sounds like a product that works but the side effects might not be what you are looking for if the product contains heptaminol, which is unlikely since it is a banned substance in horse and dog racing. Buyer beware of promoters and their slick ads!! 'By Haycock MSc., CSCS - Kynoselen is a banned drug used in horse racing and probably dog racing as well. It's active ingredient however is not AMP, but rather " Heptaminol " (6-Amino-2-methyl-2-heptanol chlorhydrate). It was first introduced in 1951 with touted inotropic effects. Inotropic means that the substance is able to influence the force of muscle contraction. Caffeine is an example of an inotropic drug. Heptmainol blocks the reuptake of noradrenalin leading to increase noradrenalin levels. This of course is why ephedrine and caffeine are banned substances in human athletic organizations. They are stimulants. Kynoselen is used in racing because of its stimulant properties. The knock-off supplement does NOT contain Heptaminol. In fact, as I was browsing the sites selling this knock-off and I saw that they claimed it had " all " the same ingredients as Kynosolene. They are lying. If it doesn't have heptaminol in it, it won't do squat! Without heptaminol it is a total rip-off! Full Article' Muscle monthly, Feb/March, 2002 Charlie Newkerk, C.S.C.S.
