update on my hip replacement surgery

Well guys, it's done. Ater 5 years of putting it of , suffering thrrough the

pain I finally got the surgery done.. I wish I could say it went great, but of

course if wouldnt be me if If I had a great surgery. Most of the " oldies

around here know about every time Ive had hip sugery I had complications,

bizarre ones and even the ones that really suck, like infections. So this is my

4th replacement. I am 2 days post op, and finally got some pain relief this

morning, I basically went though 33 or 34 hours of severe pain from the sugery,

and severe muscle spasms , this has been the most painful of all. and it was

unneccessary. thi idiot doctor ordered 10mg of flexeril, by mouth every 8

hours . i was like what the hell , mt rd dives me 3times that much and thats

just for moderate pain with the fibro . well the combination that finally

broughy my pain lvl down was 10mg valium for spasm and 20mg oxycontin, even

thogh i can onlr havr the oxy once every 12 hours, i am getting 10mg percocet,

per 5 hrs for breakthrough pain. anyway i got up today walked down the hall,

sat in chair a while. mr blood pressure has been extremely low since yesterday,

lowest reading this am eas 78/40....... it was 88/44 at lunch so thry dinally

decided to gice me 2 pints of blood so i m getting them now wil write more later

battery is gone dead
