Well last Wednesday I mad the mistake of going to the pain management Dr. who had a podiatrist on hand that said do to my severe tendinitis and very high arches he had a theory that if he injected a steroid into the nerve on the inside of both feet next to the ankle it would deaden the nerves that were going from my arches up my calves being pushed from my tendens. As of about two days after the pain in my legs r unbearable I can barely stand on my feet, and my hips and back hurt to.they feel like there on fire burning inside.I believe instead of deadening the nerve he got them all fireing. This is sort of what i got from the Dr. on call. don't have good pain killers nor would they help if its nerve pain but Ive never felt anything like it.Whatever anyone can do to help me with my pain cause I'm not doing so well on my own this is just to intense.Ive been in tears all day,Ill talk to the Dr. tomorrow but I don't know what hell do,Thank u,so much for being there ,All the love in the world to u all,
Guest guest
Hi Liane, I will keep her in my prayers. What it sounds like is what alot of us MS'ers go through. That doctor had the right idea, because Ms Tina has it done all the time, to give her some relief. At this point sounds to me that besides prayer she needs a few days of solumedral or predisone to calm the inflamation down. Tell her to go and see the doctor and if he won't fit her in or to go to the emergency room (preferrably a hospital with an MRI machine). These symptoms could be totally unrelated to her back surgery. MS attacks are like this and so are a few other illnesses like fibromyelgia. Tell her to go see a doctor and tell them said "Give me steroids and to do an MRI with dye and figure out what the heck is going on!" or she said she is going to come sit on you while the rest of my friends do a spiritual healing on you! I will pray for mercy and a miracle for Laurie for I totally understand what screaming nerve pain feels like. I am sorry that she is having to go through this! Warm healing hugs, lianeqrz_legey <butterflygris@...> wrote: LAURIE WEXLER to me 9:25 pm (1½ hours ago) As u know from before i was having terrible trouble with my healing from my spinal fusion back in Sept. of last year,The problem ended up in my feet, they were in agony and I could not walk barefoot or change my shoes. Guest guest
Here I sit trying to read through these messages and you about made me dye laughing over here. You sounded so much like me. Okay here is the thing I have MS Multiple Screlosis. The only way to detect my illness is with an MRI with dye and a spinal tap. I know ouch. But the sooner someone gets diagnosed the sooner they start treatment the sooner they don't hurt so much and so on. Just like Laurie Ms I am recommending the same tests for you as well. These doctors don't have a clue when it comes to auto immune diseases. Get checked while we pray they all come up negative and you get miraculously healed. Guest guest
Oh, I don't think I mentioned. They put me through ALL the tests the hospital had last year. They put me through them all again, plus some newbies this year. Two weeks later, my son drove me out of town to a doctor he really believes walks on water. Said doctor had me go through the same loops plus one or two. The MRI's shook a nice big filling out of a front tooth and I had that added to my list of things that needed attention. Spare me this great new medical system! I started to pass out at the grocery store this past week. They wanted to call a rescue and I said, if I pass out, I can't stop you, but as long as I'm alert, I just want to believe I'll be able to walk out of here and drive myself home after 15 or 20 minutes rest. I got what I wanted that time. And we won't even mention the co-pay Medicare leaves and the phone calls from people who think you can squeeze blood from a turnip. I've just started tearing the bills in half. I've explained the financial limitations and if they want me to give up electricity or telephone service, or meals, they can darn well come to the apartment with their handy dandy disconnect tools, in person! ----- Original Message ----- From: Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 3:16 AM Subject: Re: [] Prayer request! Guest guest
Hi Rhondie, I am one of your friends from my space. Thank you for your insight and kind words! Thank you also for sharing about you! I nearly snapped my leg in two attempting (unsuccessfully) to leap over a cattle grid at a flat out downhill gallop 11 years ago!, so I can relate to the intensity of pain you must be feeling. Lack of time and sleep are hard to work with also Liane, so I'd like to share a little technique I learned many years ago if it helps anyone in any way. My very dear friend, Janina (who was also my re-birthing practitioner at the time) taught me this many years ago:- How to slow down time! Take a moment to relax, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths. Place your hands together in front of you (as if in prayer) around the area of your solar plexus chakra. As you are breathing in and out, envisaging white light through your breath, through your body and to to your hands, slowly move your hands apart (almost like moving magnets) and ask for time to slow down to the point where you can accomplish what you need to do. I tried it a couple of times back then and thought something worked. It could have been me, but now that I've remembered this, I'm going to try it tomorrow at work and see what happens now that time seems to be speeding up of it's own accord! Hope it helps in some way. , I've just read your email and my thoughts, prayers, love and light are with you. I pray for strength for everyone and for the ongoing healing of spiritual selves. I also thank the universe for the blessings that I have, and also for my spiritual growth from the challenges I have overcome recently.I pray we will all be celebrating each others' successful outcomes in life! Guest guest
If you don't mind, let's go straight for the miraculous healing. I trust the source of that a whole lot more than these modern whiz's. They're great for things that bleed, break, and vomit -- stuff like that, what our Mom's used to be able to fix pretty much single-handedly when we were kids. Except for major surgeries. Surgeons are good -- they do understand body mechanics -- to a large degree, but even the good ones aren't great at extrapolating what's likely to happen to one part of your body following what they KNOW's happened to another. It's a heck of a thing to have to figure out for yourself what preventive attention could have and should have been paid by someone who deals with like injuries over and over and over. Why shouldn't we benefit from their experience? I'm serious, I see so much "wipe-out" effect in the attitudes of doctors I've seen in recent years, it's like their experience and training doesn't accrue at all -- ! Except, in unfortunate cases, where the doctor's so impressed by all he's learned, he thinks guessing is smarter than investigating. Very dangerous stuff going down; very disheartening. If you live in N.E. Florida, good luck!! ----- Original Message ----- From: Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 3:16 AM Subject: Re: [] Prayer request! Guest guest
In my former life, I danced. Did yoga for years. Taught ballroom, Hawaiian, basic bellydance. Got way big hips and big ugly feet, knock-knees, curved spine, thunder thighs, weak ankles -- danced ANYWAY! Bone chips in the metatarsal, fallen arches, broken ankle weight up 100 lbs from early adult weight. Given to these "mysterious" spasms -- at worst, my toes on one foot "danced" four hours straight, all by themselves, involuntarily. And six doctors stood before me, clueless?? Poked wires in where I audibly "ouched" every time -- tests, tests, well, Golly Sargeant ! Nope, I didn't have anything in the book. Guest guest
Thank you Rhondie! Being welcomed as I have by everyone means more than anyone can ever imagine. ThanksBlessings! Domestic Violence is a Crime! Be silent NO more! Be safe & Blessed! ~A~ ----- Original Message ----From: Rhonda Rance <rhonda_rance@...> Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 1:12:42 AMSubject: [] Prayer request! From Laurie Hi Ladies (and Gents), Just like you to know I love you all so. You are all very inspiring. Thank you with much humility and respect. , , Laurie, Liane, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Such agonizing pain is so debilitating. I have no experience of MS thankfully, and I can only imagine what you are going through with it, but intense agonizing pain is no stranger to me.
