No matter how grubby or muddy she gets, as soon as she is dry she's clean. I brush her a little when she's blowing her coat once to twice a year, but her coat is usually beautiful with little to no attention, & never gets burrs or mats. I know what you mean about Pyrenees, I used to have them & it was always a battle to keep them looking nice.
