stomic acid and or heart burn ?

Hi all well for years I have had what is calls as hidahurna. My father had it

and so do a few of my nieces and a sister also. Well it has gotten kind of bad

of late to were it wakes me up at night if I happen to slip down and lay flat

like a normal person when sleeping. When I do that I get a feeling that I have

to well do some porcelain hugging if you get the drift. But the hard part is I

also can not breathe at the same time. It is like I get a small amount of acid

in my lungs and then it gasses off and locks up my lungs. If any of you have umm

taken in a lung full of gas siphoning gas (do not ask how I know) and could not

breath after that well that¢s what it feels like. I can not call out for help

can not make a sound or breath. after I chough up the plug and get that great

taste in my month I can start to breath a bit but it takes a lot more coughing

and clearing before I start to breath normal or can talk . now this has finally

scared me as the

last time I has such a hard time getting started because I could not get the

air to even cough for a long time and started to feel like I was going to black

out . Well the doc thinks it may be the same hidelhurnea as before only maybe

getting larger so they are going to scope me again like ten years ago to see.

That was yesterday we talked about it and the appointment is on the 22 talk

about fast. Any hoot has any one ought some thing like this besides me were

there lungs lock up and you cannot get any air no matter what? It is not like

chocking at all it is a real no air deal and so far I have always been able to

restart my self. scary part is were I live is at lest 30 minutes to a hospital

and lets just put it this way that is if they could finds me right away . Even

the sheriffs have a hard time finding the house the few times they have been out

here, I do live out in the sticks let me tell ya no mail delivery even out here.

We do not even show on a

GPS and UPS says our address dose not exsisest LOl so our plan is the wife will

take me in or meet then ambulance on rout some were as it is faster then them

coming here so it can be scary. So that is why I am asking if any one has dealt

with it before and what they did or found out that helped. It dose not matter

what I eat or do not eat drink or when for this to happen so we know it is not

food or drink related. we do use a DX prilosac to shut down the acid pumps in

the stomach and for the most part it works but for when this happens so any info

we can use tell the docs find out the reason and what they can do as we just

want to make it tell then so thanks
