Type the word " fungus " into the box. I tried typing " mold " and " toxic mold " and came up with next to nothing. Typing " fungus " returns hundreds of petri dish photos of mold. Along with the petri dishes, there are some pretty disgusting photos of mold on the human body. All petri dish photos are " thumbnail " photos. Clicking on the thumbnail will enlarge the photo and show the name of the mold and other information on the mold. Make sure that only the " photos " circle is checked, before clicking the " begin search " button. > > Does anyone know where I can see good pictures of mold in culture > plates? ... Guest guest
Go to the Aerotech P & K web site, glossary for microbials, at: http://www.aerotechpk.com/Resources/MicrobialGlossary.aspx They have colony images from culture plates for most of the hundreds of molds listed. Be sure to compare the different species of Penicillium; also Aspergillus. Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- > Does anyone know where I can see good pictures of mold in culture > plates? Guest guest
Mold in dishes compared to P & K pictures look both like mucor sp and also Fusarium, both which have been found in my house. The aspergillus and penisillum have a distinct center to them that these don't. Samples I have look more identifical to pictures there of Fusarium than mucor sp. Since I don't have time to get plates analyized, I will have to go on my gut feeling on this. Thanks. --- " Carl E.
