Seasons of My Soul

The autumn brought changes in the colors of my days.

The hills and valleys of my mind were carpeted in indecision.

Dark creeks of cold water ran through my veins.

Then, the winter snows came and buried me in their sorrow.

My heart lay frozen and shattered.

In spring, black, angry clouds released storms of guilt and shame.

Now, summer has arrived with its healing rays of light and forgiveness.

My soul blossoms and grows in the warmth of divine Love.
