Guest guest
Thanks Patty. I've said it many times...but it is so important. It took many, many doctors not knowing what was wrong with me and someone casually asking me if it was my implants because of the Glamour article. After that...I did the research myself. If it was not for the women on the Internet sharing stories in great detail and with great courage...I would have never made the connection that every doctor missed (aka denied). I wish I had heard these stories seven years ago...but since I wasn't able to...I'm very glad to be able to share my own with the rest of you and hopefully help others to be informed. Thanks again everybody. Have a great day. Christy

Guest guest
That is great news! It is rare for docs to take our stories or testimonies very seriously. I am very glad to hear it made a big difference in your case! Let us know when you are ready...and do make sure you are getting a total capsulectomy. It will be important for your health. Guest guest
Hi Patty, Thanks so much for all of the information and support you have given me. I tried to find 'a story in the files section, but she wasn't in there. I know it sounds so selfish of me, but I just want to read up on someone with a hair loss issue so that I can relate to someone. I am so thankful that I'm not as sick as some women on this site and that I can still be with my family and children. I feel like I am slowly being tortured by the hair loss. I still have hair on my head, but it is falling out so much and I am so consumed with trying to save it that I am not the person I used to be. I guess I should be thankful that I have my health and I can just wear a wig for the rest of my life. It's just hard to accept it. It cycles, from moderate shedding, to super shedding, with no rhyme or reason. I guess it is just a side effect that I will always have from the implants.?? I have had so many tests, done so much detoxing, and tried so many different supplements, seen tons of Dr.'s and specialists, but the hair still remains a mystery. It is quite depressing too. " I've seen 's pics, and she has a gorgeous head of thick, curly hair. I am not sure what condition it is in now, but I don't think she is wearing a wig. It is probably thinner, but I hope you can at least be encouraged that she isn't bald or anything! I hope you can find some answers through detoxing, essential oils and supplements. There has got to be an answer somewhere, but this is the one thing that we just have not figured out yet. I understand how disheartening and alarming hair loss can be. I have always struggled with my thin hair. But I have come to a place of acceptance, and am really happy with life. (And wow, there are some gorgeous wigs out there! I haven't worn any yet, but I've looked and I think it would be fun to wear some of them actually!) There's always a way to turn things around, Marie...take heart and look up. We are always our own worst critics, and we sometimes take a disparaging view of our future, when in fact, things will be better. Stay hopeful of that first and foremost. Guest guest
Hi, Have those of who who are experiencing hair loss had female hormone tests? It’s a long shot, but I started losing my already fine, thin hair when my hormones were out of balance. As soon as I started taking the proper hormones, the hair loss stopped. Perhaps it could help? Guest guest
Marie I don't know if this would be any help to you but there is a company that makes organic hair products that say they have good luck with hair loss issues from illness, etc. The name of the company is Morroccomethod.com. I have tried their shampoos because I was looking for organic and I noticed that my hair was thicker and prettier. I don't have hair loss however. I ordered some for my son who is having some hair loss at 23 yr. old. He hasn't gotten it yet. I think their products are very good. At least look at their site and see what you think. You can order it cheaper at www.celticseasalt.com if you decide to actually order. Ihave used the sea and earth one. Good luck. Have you thought about having a hair analysis done? They test for metals, minerals, etc. Also I wonder if a live blood cell analysis might be of some use. I had one done 4 years ago and it was amazing the things about my health they were able to tell me from that. Just a thought. Take care kathy > > Thank you for the info!
