Kirk,

first of all, you have the BEST sense of humor, and that's the most

important thing in a friend, that, and you listen, and really GET what we are

talking

about.

I would bet that most people on this board look completely different then

before they got diagnosed!!! I, myself, can say I used to be toned, about 35

pounds lighter, and had the energy to do hair, makeup, nails, the whole

thing.... now, I look like " who did it and ran " on most days..... but I'm

still

funny!!!! right???? , no really, I am, right?

ok, but I AM making myself laugh!!!

so you see, you have all of the qualities we look for in our friends here.

:)

Jo (ex " hottie " 1997) LOL

not only was that prior to the dragon, but I was about 33 then!! Ahhhh the

good ol days

Kirk darling, you're the same wonderful person I call friend whether

your lifting weights or sitting around, whether you can walk 3 feet

or run 10 miles - it's you we all enjoy, not your physical appearance.

If that were the case (the physical appearance) than NO one would be

around me.

I know what you mean. Ah the good ol' days. Someday, though, we'll be looking

at these as the good ol days, so we'd better find something to like ourselves

about now right lol.

Well, if I ever win the lottery (hard to do when you can't afford to play,

LOL) I'll invest all of my money in a time machine so we can all go back and

re-live our own " Glory Days " !!! Shit, just thinking/remembering sometimes is

enough to get me through some pretty rough times!

Adios, Kirk.

PS...if anyone has the key to unlock my skull, bring it and a large billy

club and beat the ever living snot out of the little bastard that is beating

the hell out of the inside of my head!

PPS...Anyone know of a way to " feel " like you have more energy??? I'm so

continually exhausted that I can't stand it anymore! I do alright for a

short while when I find something that I want or have to do, but other than

that I can pass out after sitting down within 5 minutes 99% of the time!

One continually screwed dude, Kirk.
