Guest guest
Neither do I! That's why I'll second the motion to join the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund. That is the umbrella group we all desperately need. It was formed by WAP to bring everyone together to have lawyers to represent any and all of us, paid for by contributions from farmers and consumers alike. _____________________________________________ I just joined! Guest guest
there is at least that farmers fund in the US you guys can join. To my knowledge there isn't such an animal up here. Re: selling illegal white lightening Unfortunately that is what the government wants. They want us to remain silent and underground rather than open and public. Coming together under a single umbrella association would give us the numbers to help protect ourselves. Why are we all so unwilling to take this step to protect what we all say we believe in so strongly? Kurtis what is happening is stupid harassment - we all know this. but how many of us that are selling the white stuff - be it legally or otherwise, would be willing to do what Mark Nolt has done? We don't have the resources in our court to fight something like this.... like the men and women of yesteryear bootlegging, you just keep a low profile. ro No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG. Guest guest
We are consumers, and don't really expect to be prosecuted. But our family sent money as well, because we want 'our' farmers to have protection and advice if they need it. Guest guest
That's a wise move. If the farmer gets in trouble and closes up shop the consumer is SOL. Guest guest
We have made some enquiries and have spoken with this body about expansion into canada. What is needed at this point is a lawyer that fits the criteria. So from our current understanding it can be done. We are actively persueing a lawyer for this. One network across two countries is better than splitting it up.Kurtisthere is at least that farmers fund in the US you guys can join. Guest guest
While it is true you would not likely have a legal issue, it is all too true that if the battle is lost you lose another "right to chose" what you feed your family. So it is just as important to the consumer as the farmer. Wish there where more people like yourselves out there. We are consumers, and don't really expect to be prosecuted. But our family sent money as well, because we want 'our' farmers to have protection and advice if they need it. Guest guest
amen to that sentiment. I have noticed how the raids in the US are copied up here. Lots happened in the US right before they went after Schmidt for example. I think if we had some backing up here on the legal side it would be awesome. Email me private and let me know how I can help. Debbie ChikouskyManitoba, Canadagdchik@..."The person who wants something will find a way. The person who doesn’t will find an excuse."
