Need guidance with how to find out about teacher's credential status...

We've recently become aware of inconsistencies with the credentials of

my children's school (advertised accredidations that the school did

not actually have). I've also recently been told that my son's

teacher does not hold a teaching certificate (although we were told

that he did) and that the school's director has previously been sued

for lying about licensures she did not have.

I am needing help with how I can verify or investigate the status of

my children's teachers' credentials as well as that of the director.

Could somebody help me with where I can check the status of Texas

teaching certificates and licensures (ie current, revoked,

suspended?). I'm also wanting to find out how I can learn if there

has been previous complaints made to the state about these individuals

and how I can report my own complaint.
