Hey Everybody.....

First Off....Thanks to everyone who responded to the mail about my seperation

situation....I can always always depend on you folks for inspiration, wise

councel and humor....I truly do love you people....you have certainly done more

for me than my own birth family ....I went to DSS the other day for the first

step in securing assistance...I waited in line longer than anything

else.....what happened next is funny and typical of a government entity:  I roll

to the receptionist window and mention that this is my first time (be gentle,

LOL)...and that I have no clue what to do....she very nicely informs me that I

first need to choose an apartment, contact the land baron, find out the amount

of the rental and electrical deposits, the term of lease and then return....at

which point I will be assigned a case manager.....who will phone the land baron

of said chosen apt. to inquire as to the " amount of the rental and electrical

deposits, the term of

lease.... " .....anything a little screwy here or is it just me.......anyway,

there is a set of some pretty nice apts. right behind where my daughter and my

baby grandson live....she really wants me to move there so she can check on me

every day and so I can join she and her son on there daily walks....sounds

really cool to me....sooooooooooo, that's what I am going to try for first.....

also, yesterday, while I was at the hospital (not in but at), I procured a

packet of info. to fill-out to join the volunteers....I briefed the volunteer

coordinator on my background including my Licensure as a Physical Therapist

Asst......she said that she thinks I may work out well as a volunteer in the

Horsenpitals Wellness Center (Rehab)......man, that is awesome...that will put

me right back in my field around other therapists and working with

patients!!!!!!!!!!
