According to what I am reading on the settlement facility web site it says for all dow implants removed after Dec.31, 1990 and before ten from the effective date. It covers silicone,saline and double lumen. Did the line I sent work? Without replacement, and they must be Dow implants, and you must be

registered in the Dow settlement.

Are you talking about silicone implants? Do you know if saline implants are replaced, I should call Mentor or should I ask Dr. Huang? If I didn't have to pay for new implants, that would cut the cost of my surgery down by at least 1,000 do you think? ElaineLynda <coss@...> wrote:

Only if an implant is defective will they pay to replace, I think. You can

check with Mentor.

I'm not sure. I think they have a silicone outer layer and saline inside. Half saline, half silicone in separate pockets. It is what I had from Mentor.

Basically, they would have to be ruptured for them to admit a defect, I think.
