Guest guest
If you hear of any shows in our area, please let me know. I would like to get rid of some of my wood things. I might try a little soap too, just to see how it goes. Thanks, Kathy
Guest guest
Oh my God, I am so sorry to hear about your mom, I had no idea. I was wondering why I never heard from you again. I know how draining all this can be. And now you have your husband to worry about. Sometimes you think it will never end. I will keep you and your husband in my prayers, I am sure he will be fine. Try and keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. I am hoping when everything settles down, we can get together again. I really enjoyed meeting you. Take care of yourself too, because you are no good to anyone if you are worn out. Look who is talking, I am about ready to fall apart, and the worst of it hasn't even started. Talk to you real soon. Guest guest
Wow, you've been thru a bad year, too. My first husband had testicular cancer when we were 26 yrs old. He, too, is a survivor. He's now 50 years old and has never had any cancer come back. Of course, it put the cabash to us having any more kids after receiving the radiation treatments, so we just had the one daughter. I am remarried after a divorce and we have one daughter together so my kids are 12 years apart. Hopefully, they got my father's cancer in time and it will not have spread. I was at my father's camp this weekend and we were discussing the radiation treatments which he will start this week. I got him laughing because I said to him real seriously, "You know, Dad. There's one bad side effect of the radiation I want you to know about. You and Mom can't think of having any more kids." I thought he was going to fall off the picnic table bench. I also told him that if he starts getting nautious, we'd find someone to get some "weed" from for him to smoke. It really does help. The doctor even told my husband that when he went thru it and that was back in 1978. I can't believe they won't legalize it for people with cancer. That's just plain dumb, in my opinion. M Prostate Rx , Hope your Dad does well with the prostate treatment. My husband had radical surgery 6 years ago at Roswell. No positive nodes and is now a survivor!! Unfortunately he had a positive tumor on his kidney (unrelated) that was just removed last Thursday at Sister's Hosp. What a great place! He's been in ICU since and is doing better. I'm not, but this too shall pass. It's been a bad year for illness. My Mom passing in June, DH with his surgery and now I find out my sister fell over her Rottweiler and has a broken leg. 2002 can't come fast enough. Would like some time to soap. Maybe next week after my husband comes home.....JeanineJeanine's Hummingbird Soap Works
Guest guest
Welcome Jeanine, I am a new resident to an area near Tampa. I moved from AZ where I had been for 8 yrs in hopes to ease the symptoms of RA but not much luck. I have had RA for almost 20 yrs so feel like an old timer in the group. This group is wonderful....there is not much more than I can say except I sincerely believe that the prayers of this group is powerful and I am so glad that you found us and are a part of the group. Hopefully your sister will do the same. You both are in my prayers. Have a speedy recovery and feel free to ask any questions you have Joanne Plant City Florida
Guest guest
Jeanine Congrats on a great show. One question: What are " herbies " that the kids go bonkers over? Many subjects Terry, so sorry you're sick again. That virus is so hard to shake. Maybe a few weeks on the beach with a large margarita.....Sounds good to me and boy I'd go in a heartbeat. Seriously, I hope you feel better soon. , been sending the junk mail back for a long time, especially to the power company. What nerve to send me all that junk mail about checks, etc. I think when they are tired of paying the extra postage they may stop this. If you put on at least the first class stamp, anything over is collected at point of delivery. I just stuff all the junk back in. For some of the other mail, if they send a stamped envelope, just seal the empty envelope and mail it back, the company then has to pay the postage. Shaye, read about your coming craft show. Best of luck. I just did a two day show in ton. OMG, one of the best shows I have ever done in my short history. There were two other soapers at the show also. Never saw so many twenty's and fifty's in my life! My best seller? Goat milk green tea and the bars for kids with toys in thrm. I also make little'herbies' The kids go bonkers over these. I haven't done any lotion or lip balms yet but did finally get the shrink wrap I was looking for. Your things look so professional (saw them on your site) that I don't think you'll have any problem. Is this an outdoor or indoor show? Hope you sell all you bring. Let us know how things went. Hope someone is with you for that all important potty-break. Best of luck. Guest guest
Stacey, Thanks for the welcome! I have not ended up in the ER with my recovery, but I am 3 1/2 weeks post op, and been completely bed ridden, gradually up, and then completely bed ridden again! I am a fast paced person, and this is driving me nuts! I am finally starting to deal with the pain without having to take the percoset, but I still have muscle spasms in my hip which of course puts pressure on the sciatic nerve (the whole reason I had to have surgery in the first place) and that causes a great deal of pain in the leg. The PT had me do some different excersices over the weekend, and they seem to be helping, so maybe this week I can SLOWLY work my back to normal. I am supposed to return to work on the 22nd?! I don't know if that is going to happen or not, but I stil have hope! Joanne, My hair loss was not immediate, nor as severe. I pull out a good number of hairs every time I wash, comb, or just run my fingers through my hair, but my hair has always been very thick, so it shows mostly up front. My mother lost a lot of hair as a result of meds years ago for her MS. It got bad enough that she almost got a wig. It upset her at the time, but looking back, she comments that it would have been a small price to pay not to hurt. Good luck with the decision making! Guest guest
Iris, I had a very large herniated disk from a trip on the stairs this summer. When the doctor did the surgery, he found that it had actualy fragmented into 3 pieces since the MRI. He couldn't believe I was doing anything! Let alone working the day before surgery. My RA is very new, and as yet I have not had any problems with erosion, bone spurs, or other bone problems. Do they have any ideas on how to take care of yours? It wouls pretty extensive and painful to boot! Jeanine
Guest guest
Iris, I am on Arava & Enbrel for my RA. THey have been working well for me since about March. Hopefully, they will continute to do so, and prevent any further problems. Good luck on the knee surgery, and definitely see a doctor about the SI joint. I know the feeling about seeing too many drs. 1 1/2 years ago, when I was having my early problems, I was also seeing a Eurologist, Opthamolgist, ENT, PCP & Rheumy. My husband started teasing that I spent more time with my drs than with him! FOrtunately, the PCP and Rheumy are the only ones I have to see very often anymore. Guest guest
Hi Jeanine, I am glad that you are following dr's orders. I certainly paid the price when I didn't. Don't rush things, if you are not ready to go back to work, then just talk with your doc and I'm sure he/she won't rush you. I hope you get some comfort soon. Guest guest
Grace, Dan has only just gotten back on his supps, and is still missing most of them. At this point one cannot adequartely evaluate the entire protocol with regard to Dan. When he was denied Flanagan's silica hydride last year he began to lose all the progress he was making in his recovery. He's only just getting the Active H- going, I think since September. He hasn't had any of Flanaga's silica hydrides since at least October of 2001. So, please keep in mind what the denial of Flanagan's Silica Hydrides cost my friend and many others who just gave up during that shameful time. And that maybe why Flanagan doesn't set aside funds for certain studies....all his money is tied up in lawsuites. Have you even written to Dan? Did you give him a chance to tell you what it was like for him when he first experienced Flanagan's SH? He will be in detox for some time, and once he can afford to get the rest of the tools for the job, you will have a chance to see what we saw last year. That still leaves Glynda, hep2c@... whom you seemed to forget, or johnatoms@... who also received a clean bill of health from his docs. And, I guess you can say any claim is unsubstantiated if you were not willing to look at all the evidence. I won't argue with you. But, if you don't beleive me, why not just leave me alone or provide proof of my fraud...and then let it be. Calling me a liar helps no one. Proving I have misrepresented myself, my recovery, or Nature will lay it all to rest. Let's leave personalities out of it, or leave it alone. Guest guest
Yet more of the same, nothing but excuses and a bunch of verbal diarrhea. You hold Dan up as one of your 'recoveries', now when it's discovered that he is not doing well – you have oh so many excuses for it. Apparently now we are to only listen to how he was doing during a particular time within this protocol – matters not that he may be dying now? Let's just skip over that little detail, eh? You're the one that held him up as an example, not me - I'm just merely doing my homework. So, let me get this straight… one will do fine when taking this protocol, however once you stop – within months you will be dying again. Doesn't hold water, whether there are hydrides in it or not... plain and simple. Jeanine - you're the one that came to this board making claims of complete recovery from HCV, not I. Therefore you do have something to prove. Back up what YOU say - or back off. I've never called you a liar – I've only asked for proof of your claims that are not testimonials. Now we're down to one, MAYBE two people (that you're willing to refer folks to anyway) that this protocol has helped. Let's see now… how many are buying it? I'm not a math wizard, but the odds are not looking good. How long is it now that this protocol has been around? Where are all the recoveries? With the claims you have made, I would assume there would be hundreds if not thousands of these folks. Where are they?
Guest guest
Wow! These Doctors are so wonderful....huh??? Saw this at the forum you recommended Amazing Grace. Margie. DOCTOR REFUSING: help please Previous | Next From: Leeslady (CONNIE_LEE) Oct-21 7:41 pm ALL (1 of 14) 3980.1 GMA1964, our beloved Terri, has missed 4 days of work in 8 weeks due to tx. Her job has written her up! Her hepatologist, AND i say that grudgingly, refuses to help her or fill out the Family Medical Leave Act...as does her family doc. Instead her Hepatologist, Dr. Mallpeddi in lawrenceburg, Tn. says he'll pull her off tx. if she needs to miss days! Please help this hepper my friends! Thanks. [ ] Jeanine No thanks - you won't be making any deals with me... I've seen you take enough heppers money with absolutely NO proof that your products work, you will not be adding my name to your list . I question everything and red flags are immediately raised when anyone touts unsubstantiated claims, especially for cure alls. I would venture to guess though that if this product does indeed do all of things you testify it does - the maker of the product could certainly set aside a small portion of their earnings and put all the skeptics to rest by paying for your tests, especially considering that you're one of the very rare ones (maybe the only one?) that went from mild fibrosis to end stage and death's door in 18 months. Now let's see... you mentioned 2 names that I recall that have recovered from 'end stage' with this product. Glynda and Dan. Dan has his own site at Delphi and for anyone interested in finding out just how well his recovery is going, you might want to read this recent post by his wife.... http://forums.delphiforums.com/Hepatitis Cen1/messages?msg=3804.1 So if that's your definition of 'recovery' - I'm not convinced the Active H is working for him. And I just want to clarify one other thing... " 90% of heppers are not online, and most of people get back to life and work when they recover, and don't live for the list anymore. " ... So all of these many people to whom you refer to have 'recovered' from HepC via an alternative method and have just gone quietly away? Sounds like more excuses Jeanine and quite frankly - I think most people would scream it from the rooftops if they were able to do it this way. I have a tendency to think that it's quite the opposite - it didn't work for them in the end and they won't talk about it - they probably feel foolish for wasting money - that's the more likely story. I'm not wrapped up in discrediting you - I'd love to know that this product works. I want proof, I'm sure I'd even order it if it was proven to work. Something tangible that makes sense to me and doesn't insult my soul. It's interesting how you view it as 'tearing down' though. I wonder what you would say if ANY pharm company made the claims that you do and had absolutely no proof to back it up with the exception of one or two testimonials, now that I'd like to see. I call it doing my homework and being informed. Jeanine - I have run into you all over the net and on many message boards. You're quite the cheerleader for anyone that does not question you and you ultimately and always result to name calling when some one does, rather than have an intelligent conversation. Interesting tactic. I have found in my experiences that when one gets defensive - they are usually in the wrong or guilty of something. I remain, Skeptical and glad to be. I dont know how many times you are required by your handlers to repeat this mantra, but I hear you & I understand what you are saying and I am hoping not to hear it for awhile.) >Bottom line is....>1. I don't sell cures. nope, you use scare tactics to herd people into the pharm borg>2. I sell nothing. only fear and chaos>3. People have asked many times for Jenine to remove the links from her postings. Thats what this site was about, or dont you remember in your zeal for take-over? It's all about links---If you dont like links being posted you should unsubscribe and move on.>4. Her replies are generally laced with links to sites that sell product. SO what? Most sites sell something, I dont have to buy and neither do you, andy! I also can change the station on the radio or unsub from this site if I like... Are you also on viagra, andy? Do you believe in better life through chemistry? Do you also think television, movies, books and radio are dangerous and should be sensored? Do you believe everything your government tells you? Do you regularly punch your fists into air at the inanity of the First Amndment? Do you also feel, andy, that jeanine should be banished to the 3rd rock from the sun and are you now or have you ever been a kicker for the Oakland Raiders--known for playing dirty? If you answered yes to any of the above, you need to sit yourself down and take a moment, better yet, take a bong along with you and sit yourself down, some quiet private place, andy, and try to let go, your knuckles must be white!....try to trust...in the universe--that it is indeed wiser than all of us put together. um...wouldn't that be nice? Just agree to disagree? >5. My motives are very simple. HCV is a very complicated disease. There are no simple cures. Suggesting there are and profiting from that inference either directly or indirectly will not be tolerated by me on my pharm boy soapbox. So that must mean that every time a "new person" arrives I have to endure the soapbox pot debate and the natural vs. pharm angle--initiated by you or this "new person"???? If only the arguement was conclusive. It is not. Give it a rest, andy. please. We are all grown ups here. You promised!

Guest guest
So glad to hear your husband is improving. How is your hand? Talk about your plate being full!!! Prayers to you both. Next weekend Oct. 11 & 12 is at the Niagara County Co-Operative Extension fair grounds in Lockport...formerly the AppleFest now the Autumn Fest. Would be great if you could stop in. I am inside the Marketplace building. Is your hand in a cast...would make it easier for me to identify you. (You are so clever...your soaps are 'too pretty to use'. Don't you just hate that expression?) Hate that...I tell them...use them, I can always make more.Kim C
Guest guest
Hi Jeanine-good luck with your hand. Sounds like it takes a lot to slow you down! I'm really glad to hear that is getting good care, and is progressing with his speech. Isn't it amazing what can be done? Who would have thought that singing was the key to recover speech? Sending warmest wishes for a speedy and full recovery for both of you! Apples pies, swirling leaves, sweaters, couch time curled up with a hot cup of coffee and good book by the fire, dramatic cloud formations in the sky-I love this time of year!! Guest guest
Gee, I thought she would have had it by now and you were too busy to let us all know. Well, at least you know she'll DEFINITELY be having it probably by tonight. Best wishes to her and all your family. Shaye Your pics are awesome!! You never know what's going to sell. I sell alot of Patchouli at town. Some on the Island. The pansies are beautiful. Did you hear alot of 'oh, too pretty to use'? I keep telling folks that soap is a renewable resource. Still no baby but Val is in the hospital being induced as we speak. Jeanine
