Guest guest
Stacie, I'm afraid I've been confusing our Stacey//Stacie's . . . Please pardon me! is better informed on thyroid problems than most doctors. She's a good one to ask! . . . However, there is something else to consider . . . Since you aren't getting better as quickly as you hoped, you might check out the issue of Candida . . . We've written a bunch about it here, but since there is so much to learn, you might check the book "The Yeast Connection" (or a similar book). Systemic Candida can cause a host of problems . . . mental fogginess, muscles aches, fatigue, etc. Many of us who have had implants have experienced this problem . . . There are a few medications that can help, but long term, they can damage your liver. Using a holistic approach isn't easy, but once you start feeling better, you will generate your own motivation. There is a simple (non-scientific) test you can do for Candida . . . The first thing in the morning, before putting anything in your mouth, spit in a glass of water. . . Check it after 15 minutes. If it's clear, you pass . . . If there is a milky blob floating on top with tendrils going down in the water, or if your spit breaks into chunks that float, or if it sinks to the bottom of the glass in a milky blob, it can indicate systematic Candida. I had all three going on! . . The neat thing about this test is that it's free, and that it tracks very well with Candida treatment. . . The most important thing you can do is to eliminate ALL sugar from your diet! . . . This can be very difficult, because, if you have Candida, you will probably crave sugar. . . Anyway, I could go on and on . . . but first, review the book! Hugs and prayers, Rogene Stacie Hall <staciehall40@...> wrote: ,You and I seem like we have so much in common. I have all the same symptoms you had from implants. I was explanted in March but havent gotten much better. I feel very strongly I'm having a thryoid problem. My reg. phy. said my throyid was fine. I had a hair analysis and that Dr. said the thought I was having a throyid problem she has put me on some vitamins and herbs, that havent seemed to help much. Do you have any suggestions as to maybe the type of Dr. I can go to? Any info would help. Guest guest
Stacie ,where are you at? What state? Ill look up some well known, really good docs for you. I also know that coconut oil really helps a sluggish thyroid ,and is great for the immunity. If that is what you think it is. What are your symptoms? How old are you? I also did not get completely better, until I got my thyroid condition treated more specifically about 8 months ago. Simple meds were not doing it. If your metabolism is slow, you wont heal, detox and gain strength to get better like normal .Your body barely gets by. Or will at a very ,slow turtle pace. That is what was happening to me. I had a lot of fibromyalgia symptoms as well due to my thyroid. Getting my hormones balanced and taking care of treating my thyroid better increased my well being Id say 50 Percent! Within, like a month! Yeah! I know about the taking care of kids, I have 4 year old and man, you have to be up to par! Guest guest
, I am 30 yrs. old, I live in Knoxville, TN. I have a 2yr old and a 4yr old, both boys. I will say my symptoms were much worse before explant. I only had the implants 2 months. Prior to implants, I was in the gym at least 4 days a week, lifting weights, etc. All of that came crashing down. I was explanted in March. To make a long story short I will tell you the problems I am still having: Vision disturbance, muscle twitches mostly in legs, extreme mood swings, Its almost like I feel like a different person at times of which I'm sure my kids think so also, as well as my husband. Sometimes heart palpations, sometimes dizziness, sometimes nauesa. My symptoms seem to get worse if I try to workout or sweat in the sauna. When I had my hair analysis done my Cal/mag was off the charts while pot/and other minerals were way low. That's when the Dr. suggested adreal/thryoid issue going on. She put me on some vitamins/herbs. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank You so much, Stacie >From: " JOSEPH PALANCA " <juliejp61@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: Re: /throyid >Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2004 23:22:40 -0600 > >Stacie ,where are you at? What state?
