I think you should get a 2nd opinion regardless. See if another doc has a solution besides the hormone shots. What would be the difference in hormone shots and BCP anyways? both are hormones. Let me know what they say. You do need to have that looked at and figure something out. Way too young to be in that much pain. I know what you mean about being resigned to not having children. I'll be 36 tomorrow, so I'm getting older anyways, but I decided back when i first got sick when I was 26 that I would not have birth children. I have never really waivered from that. Have I had times when I wish it weren't true, yes. But ultimately I know that I won't put my body through that and I don't want to put my child through that too.
