Guest guest
I just wanted to tell everyone my ex husbands story. He is the father of my three children. Two years ago he was is an alful car cash. We almost lost him. Spent over a month in the trama center in San Dieago. Well he had to have a hip replacement. Starting last year he started not feeling very well, always sick , sleeping alot etc etc. A couple of weeks ago he called me and told me that he didn't think he was going to be around much longer, (weird phone call) he also asked our daughter who is 17 to go to his house so he could show her everything that was important in case he died. I called him back and asked him want is going on. But he just didn't want to talk about it with me. From what my children have told me he is sick just like we all were or are. He has alot of the same syptoms. I don't think that the doctors are helping him just like most don't help us. I told the kids to tell him it could be the hip replacement causing the troble. But what in the hell do you do. He can't have his hip taken out. Would it help if he was put on a drug to surpress his immune system like people with RA??? This is prof to me that its not just breast implants that can make you sick, its all implants. Love Cricket
Guest guest
Cricket You are right about all implants. I have read other articles in the past stating the same. People with silicone in their bodies --no matter where it is, have a good chance of reacting to it. I think it might benefit your husband to still try some detoxifying and immune support. Does he have more arthritis like symptoms? He might benefit from going on the www.roadback.org site. This site is for people with all types of rheumatic illnesses-- diagnosed and undiagnosed illnesses. It is about antibiotic therapy which for reasons not totally known, helps with all of these conditions including ms, als, lyme, and others. Some people believe it is the antiimflammatory effect that minocycline has on the body, most others believe it is because these antibiotics kill off mycoplasma and other organisms that may directly or indirectly cause these illnesses. It certainly couldn't hurt. I have also read repeatedly that many cases of fms, and other illnesses like RA, etc, follow a trauma to the body such as a car accident. Again, we don't know why that is so, but that is often the precipitating feature. If that is the case, he might have gotten sick even without the hip replacement. So I think it is definitely worth pursuing going the route we follow plus the antibiotic route. AT least check out the websites and find out more about it. I am on doxycycline and it definitely saved my life. I was developing scleroderma and it is at least keeping me from getting worse and has brought improvements. I am on very low doses due to my extreme sensitivity, but I knew the first week that I started on them they were helping me. My heart calmed way down on them. If I were him, I would hold off on immune suppressants. They can be very serious themselves. But I will say that many people are on those while trying the antibiotic therapy and manage to wean themselves off as they improve with the antibiotic therapy. I really do feel there is hope for your husband, but like so many others, he has a hard road ahead for awhile. Seriously though, he should check out the website above and also one called www.rheumatic.org. AT the roadback, go to the section called bulletin board and you will see everyone's posting. LThey have a large group and very willing to help just like here. Your husband is probably going to need to find a good doctor. I have heard very good things about a doctor named Dr.Dewitt in tyler texas. He does cutting edge stuff with chelation, etc. A woman who belongs to the rheumatic site says he saved her life. she had fast progressing scleroderma. She does the antibiotic therapy also. Most of the symptoms, if not all, that women on this site exhibit, are similar to the symptoms of people with rheumatic disease. I will try to keep him in my prayers Hugs, kathy > > I just wanted to tell everyone my ex husbands story. He is the > father of my three children. > Two years ago he was is an alful car cash. Guest guest
Cricket, I second that about all implants being capable of making people sick. My mother is in the same boat as your husband, only with knee replacements. She got them and then went downhill steadily in health. Pain all over her body, fatigue, she has terrible skin rashes, especially on her legs...at first they told her rheumatoid arthritis, then they said, nope, fibromyalgia, and now they just kinda don't know what to tell her, but they did put her on plaquenil. They do know it is autoimmune. I think she takes other drugs as well. But I find it interesting that she didn't have any of these symptoms until after the knee replacements..not before. Seems to be connected to me.... But it's the same boat as your ex. She can't remove the knees, which are made of titanium and silicone by the way, and so she will be suffering the rest of her life. In this case, the only thing that can be offered is drugs to help control the symptoms. There will be no way to cure this illness. I still try to help my mother by offering suggestions on natural ways to deal with the rashes, or improving her eating habits, but it is hard for her to change her ways, just like it is for most people. I think the best we can do is be there for them when they need us. Thank God we can have hope when we remove our implants, we can get better. These poor souls have no such hope. I'm sorry to hear your children have to see their dad suffer. Hugs, Patty > > > > I just wanted to tell everyone my ex husbands story. Guest guest
Cricket, sorry you're husband is so ill. I agree with you it is all implants that have the potential of making people sick, just as silicone and salines made us sick. I've also said there is big money in artifical limbs and manufactures don't want to give up the big business. I can see the risk for someone who needs a hip replacement but not for women wanting bigger breasts. I'm so sorry he is suffering as he is. Hope a resolution can be found. God Bless you and your family so much, glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Cricket,I second that about all implants being capable of making people sick. Guest guest
Cricket, that is horrible. Is he going to follow any natural treatments, and what a stickin hard place to be, its not like he can take them out. My father in law has two hip replacements and now has arthrits. Its uncanny.
