Guest guest
Dear - My comments were not directed at you or anyone in particular. I was just sharing the information I recently read in several articles and books with everyone. I was thankful that had posted some links to help me find a good endocrinologist -- a rare find it seems (and I have been seeing these " specialists " for at least 25 yrs (once my ob/gyn stopped trying to handle it after the first 10+ yrs of treatment for my underactive thyroid and referred me). For anyone who has been told they have had a temporary problem -- I sincerely hope yours is truly temporary and that you will do everything in your power to prevent a recurrance -- it is not a problem you want to have hanging around your neck. It starts out just as an annoyance -- becomes a lot more than that with time. The relationship between chronic thyroid problems, other gynecological problems and implants needs to be studied.
