, I wanted to comment on your idea of gathering a list of meds we're

all on and rating them. It would be interesting to see it, but probably not

very helpful to your son.

The weirdest thing about Stills is how it affects everyone so differently,

and how there is no one 'solution' to our symptoms. For example, while

someone might sing the praises of MTX, there would be someone else who

couldn't tolerate it at all. And while some of us have been on something

like prednisone for ages and seem to suffer no joint damage, I've heard of

others who go on it only a short time to find they need a hip replaced.

You may have heard people mentioning how it takes a while to get the right

'cocktail' that eases the symptoms while avoiding nasty side effects. It

does feel to me like my doctors have to invent a 'recipe' for me!

It might help though with seeing what the options are... if you gather a

list, I'd love to see it.

It's Exelent idea !!

I hope it alloed by the group. We need to help stablish WHAT we could

possible all have as a common thread. I have Fibromyalgia & I'm amazed by all

the

other that have been diagnosed BEFORE or after Stills

wt. F.M. I also take MTX> but I CAN " T get on the " new " biological

injectables because I had TB as a pre teen, so the RD is afraid to go there.

I'd be

intrerested to konw if anu body else out here has had the same or similar

problem. I've been put on one of the oldest pills for RA. & don't think is help

so

far. May be it could need more time... .

I trully hope we can organised something like that on the group, we have

somoe very talented people on the group. Tom could help a lot on the scientific

points of view!

I had another episode after 3 mos. & very ,very discourage.
