Guest guest
Don’t mean to sound prideful ,but girl, you can call me the thyroid queen! Count on me anytime! (As well as many other gals here. thyroid seems to be a common misfortune here) I have had so many problems with treatments, I decided to read every frickin book out there, and figure it out, darn it! I studied it like for 2 years and went to over 7 endo's and docs, before finding the best treatment, that turned my life around! I am so glad it helped! Love you, love you DALLAS AREA ENDOCRINOLOGIST THANKS A BUNCH JULIE!My new holistic internist wants me to go to one of the groups on that list -- so I will be making my appt shortly. You ladies are really helpful -- were of more help to me on this than the thyroid foundation sites (they mostly sent drs in S Texas -- many hours away).Regards,
Guest guest
Can you tell me about your thyroid? I had hyperthyroid after my last baby and it was very bad. I was always having heart palpitations and felt very hyper. I never could eat anything, I was losing weight and my hair was falling out literally in CLUMPS, it was horrible! I would wash it and it would just be coming out in handfulls! I got better though after a few months. Dr said it was normal after pregnancy. Did you have the hyper thyroid from implants? How is implants connecting to that? In , " JOSEPH PALANCA " <juliejp61@m...> wrote: > Don't mean to sound prideful ,but girl, you can call me the thyroid queen! Count on me anytime! Guest guest
Dear , I am soooooo tired of feeling tired, having my hair fall out (along with so many other symptoms that say I have been undertreated and my drs saying I am sorry but I just have to keep your dose too low even though I know you would feel better with a higher dose -- gee, that makes me feel better, doc!). I just read a couple of books as I decided to take charge of this -- so I CANNOT WAIT to go see these drs and I will definitely let you know how it goes. You are my queen! Thanks again -- Regards, - In , " JOSEPH PALANCA " <juliejp61@m...> wrote: > Don't mean to sound prideful ,but girl, you can call me the thyroid queen! Count on me anytime! Guest guest
Sracey, If you have had thyroud problems in the past (even though you recovered) I think I would steer clear of implants for sure if I were you So many women on this site who have had their implants removed and had a lift have wished that they had just had the lift in the first place. I guess a good surgeon can do wonders with a lift. By the way, implants can become extremely hard due to capsular contracture (all of mine did) and this can be quite painful. Guest guest
I just read this post and I think that you definitely should not get implants. The fact that you had hyperthyroidism is a sign that your body is very sensitive and it has already experienced an immune reaction. Hyperthyroidism can definitely return. My husband and his father both had hyperthyroidism at different times. It is not something --as I am sure you know--that you want to mess with. Your body is already reactive. Don't put a silicone shell (all implants have silicone shells) in your body and give it a chance to react to it.
