Tammy I don't think anyone is out to hurt anyone, these other women

just started a new site. Why is everyone so upset about this? I would

think we would all be happy to have more information out there.

If I was you I would not worry about this. It is really being

paranoid. It is just another site like explantation.com or any other

breast implant information site.

Yes I would like things to return to normal. I leave this situation in God's hands. He knows we mean well. He will be the final judge of person's hearts.

Sorry for your misconception but I'm not paranoid, only disgusted if those members from other sites would have the poor taste to try to lure new members off of this site, or flood the site with stress and negative energy.

Hi Tammy:

I am sorry that you are in so much pain right now. Is

there anyway you can get some medication to help you

to sleep? Oct 31st is a long time off - are you on a

list for them to call if there are any cancellations

sooner than that?

I have found that rice socks are helpful as they form

around the aching joints, and warm baths or showers

are good too. It is such a vicious cycle - pain

causes stress and sleeplessness which causes more pain

and stress and sleeplessness.... and on it goes. I

know how you feel. I take a muscle relaxant

(Skelaxin), pain med (Ultracet), and sleep aid

(Trazodone) before bed which helps me get to sleep,

but I will still wake up with hip pain during the

night several times. But at least those first few

hours of sleep are good now.

I hope that you are able to call the doctor and get

yourself put on that list so that you are hopefully

able to get in to him sooner. Ask him about a sleep

aid if you feel you need it to help you get through

the next month before you see him.

Come here and whine all you like, my friend, that is

what we are here for - I hope that today is a better

day -

Hi Tammy:

I'm glad the rice socks are helping. I take Mobic and

it is helping with inflammation for me; hopefully, it

will do the same for you. Glad to hear you are on the

list - keeping my fingers crossed that you will get in

to see the doc soon.

Hi Tammy:

I honestly don't know how much help a diuretic can be

if the swelling is called by inflammation, and not

just edema. Sometimes we have to read up on these

medications ourselves and then decide what is best for

us - if you are feeling hesitant to take it, let your

doctor know and let him know why. Do your doctors

consult with one another at all? Maybe they should,

and then decide the best course of action to take for

your situation. Anyway, be your own best friend and

be proactive - if you feel something is not right for

you, as the patient, I think you have the final say.

Just let the doctor know.

My son recently moved back to North Carolina from Bristol. He still has

a house there that he needs to sell. I know it's going to be hard,

because it's a 100-year-old three-story brick house that was once a

hospital. Sue
