Thanks -- I just found that and joined the American Thyroid Foundation also. Do any of you know of anyone who has gone to Dr Anne , Dr Bressler (both in Dallas) or Dr Evangelina Casteneda (in Plano)?

, the one is Dallas, Bressler , Iknow I have heard good things about from women on mary's site. . Was he on her list? Id go with her recommneded list,as these docs have newer knowledge and are open to treating with t3 and t4 until you feel better Otherwise. conventional docs think t4, like synthroid is good enough, and it is not in most cases Love,

Thanks for the info on Dr Bressler! I know a woman at my gym who uses Dr. Anne (who is a holistic dr and also treats thyroid w/T3 & T4 meds when needed) and someone else (a husband who told me about his wife's woes until she got better treatment) who just told me aboutt Dr. Evangelina Casteneda (an endo who also uses the T3 & T4 meds when needed) -- I hear both are quite good. My endos (and I have gone to the supposedly best ones for years) have insisted on keeping me on Synthroid and nothing but Synthroid -- after so many years I do not think any med continues to work effectively.

I am pleased to have 3 to call now,
