Cc: Texas-autism-advocacy Date: Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 9:18 AM Hello, Lifepaths System (Collin County's MHMR) has some In Home Family Support Grant (IHFS) money to spend before the end of their fiscal year on August 31st. If you live in Collin County and have a child diagnosed with MR or Autism contact : Fern Gimenez, Quality Improvement Program Administrator LifePath Systems Apply for IHFS grant (up to $2400.00 per year) this grant is based on family income, but the sliding scale is very forgiving, it takes # of family members into account as well as medical expenses. The grant can be spent on respite, in home life skills training, parks and rec. programs, therapies during the summer when school is out, medical expenses that insurance is not covering, many other things. Lifepath is also taking application for IHFS grant for fiscal year 2009. Thanks, Nagla

Guest guest
No, I don't but I would encourage you to contact them and apply for, or get on the waiting lists for IHFS and the medicaid waiver program (HCS)if your child is not on these lists yet.
