Guest guest
Chocolate is a basic food group, as far as I'm concerned! I only eat dark bittersweet though, in very small doses. I consulted with another cancer survivor and she told me her doc said it was OK, as long as it was the dark stuff. And I know Chips, who cured himself of cancer with holistic methods, eats it too sometimes. Moderation in all things. I recommend 's " Curing Your Cancer Without Killing Yourself " in case anyone is interested in reading about holistic approaches and a good prevention diet (based on Edgar Cayce's work, which I admire). My body told me to stop drinking diet sodas a little over a year ago. Two clients had warned me about it and I started paying attention. I had just bought a whole big bag of splenda. And then one morning I got up and looked in the cabinet, picked up the bag and just had a bad feeling. It went against my Pennsylvania Dutch thriftiness to chuck it, but chuck it I did. My illness taught me so many things, one of which is stay in loving communication with your body. It knows when it needs rest and what foods to eat and not eat. But you have to pay it the attention it deserves and just...love it tenderly! Blessings, Kanta
