> Any explant experts around here?

I live in Boston. I have been sick for a year. The only doctor who

would see me for explantation was Dr. Kolb in Atlanta. She

took me in on an emergency basis because of my symptoms and my recent

ER visits in Boston where nobody would listen to me. Doctors here

all say my implants are safe, but tests show no other cause.

It was not fun to travel after surgery but Dr. Kolb and her staff

were excellent. The flight was only two hours. I have only had my

implants out for five days, but I am on the road to recovery for

good. I researched plastic surgeons on the East coast and nobody

would take me in for even a consultation before December. Even those

doctors said I was stupid to take out implants that are not

ruptured. The doctor in California who put them in said to leave

them in until one ruptures.

You really do not want a doctor who does not understand the

seriousness of having explantation right away and who knows to be

careful when removing them. Dr. Kolb also put me on a detoxification

and immunology program to remove the infection and any silicone from

the shell that is in my system.

If you have any questions e-mail Dr. Kolb at drkolb@...

She will respond right away and let you know what your symptoms could

mean. Whatever you do...take care of this right away. It is so

important.

Good luck and take care-

Christy

Hi ,

I've taken my boys to the clinic in upstate NY, and we're very

pleased with their progress. You can reach them at 315-773-5405.
