A really good friend sent this to me,and it is info I thought should be shared and passed on!Love,Light and Peace....... Jenn I've done Jury duty before and I know for a fact they contact by mail

only! Here is what my friend sent me I checked it out on www.snopes.com and there is a FBI awareness to the public that this is a SCAM that people are calling homes alarming them and getting personal info over the phone ....never give out your SS number to anyone over the phone! This sounds serious! Although we probably wouldn't give this info over thephone it's a good reminder of the bad ones out there trying to get us.Please share if you agree. of us take summons for jury duty seriously, but enoughpeople skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind ofscam has surfaced. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If youprotest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammerasks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he orshe can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Giveout any of this information and bingo; your identity jus t gotstolen. The scam has been reported so far in 11 states, includingOklahoma, Illinois, and Colorado. This (scam) is particularlyinsidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try
