Guest guest
darling, I LOVE the cold! As a matter of fact I've been in Florida for 12 years and still keep my house at 73 degrees which is barely comfortable to me but my boys are a little too cool. You're blood doesn't thin here you just acclimate to the climate - they have, I haven't. Yes, my hands and feet swell in the heat, but that's why there's a pool everywhere you look, A/C in just about every building and car, and plenty of water to go around. But you're right, you should try being a snowbird, short of greying your hair, wearing false teeth and coke bottle glasses, of course. Take care and be well. Guest guest
Oh Alli, how could you speak so negatively about our white garbage! I have pretty much lived in winter white most of my life.I love it between Thanksgiving until New Years Day.After that I would like to close all my drapes and shades and not look outside again until the tulips are blooming! The younger grandkids love it,especially when our dog pulls them on their sleds!my daughter is nuts, she won't let anyone walk on her front lawn and mess up her snow! Ok there is one good thing about snow, you have to wear lots of clothes which hides a multitude of problems, but thats it. Elly > I use to love winter, now I am a human barometer and the thought of snow > storm after snow storm makes me just want to crawl into a cave,.. How do you > guys do it... live in states with so much snow that is... > I'm very happy to have one snow storm a year... get to see it, but not be cold all winter long. > > >
