Guest guest
Lea, What is this about? So that website has some bad things on it?I didn't read but a little bit because it is a link on Dr. Huang's website. I wonder why Dr. Huang is on it and has a link to it right on her website? I had questions about replacement today and Dr. Huang's assistant Thersa told me to read implantinfo s and she said it is " excellent source" for information and that Dr. Huang highly recommends it. I wonder. ElaineLea <devans@...> wrote: Thank you Patty: Breast implants with this foam covering should be banned. She may not be sick yet, but she will be and then who will she turn to? My has a favourite cousin who has a saline breast implant and we have watched her change from a vibrant lady into a cripple. She claims that the implant did not make her sick. Dr. Blais has told us that she is on the fourth floor of a building...going down. We love her so much, but we are helpless. The kind that I had did not have a foam covering--those were another kind of implants that were marketed, purportedly to avoid capsular contracture as well, but they preceded the textured saline implants that women are getting today, and they were much, much more lethal. The foam covering disintegrated in women's bodies into carcinogenic and toxic substances. It was the same foam that they used in car upholstery, if you can imagine that. The textured implants they are using today have silicone shells that have been textured...at a very small detailed level, you would see little hills and valleys of silicone "bumps". The purpose, supposedly, was to keep the scar tissue from tightening around the implant and squeezing it, which was what was happening with smooth shelled implants. Of course, their theory didn't work in real life....(as usual) and women still got capsular contracture with textured implants. Furthermore, the textured surface gave rise to the opportunity of macrophages to gnaw off these silicone particles much more easily, allowing silicone to be transported to various parts of the body. Always promises of a better product, always failure.....it never ends. PattyLynda <coss@...> wrote: Polyurethane is in the foam. Guest guest
Ok now ladies I have to say something here. Lea you don't know if will get sick or not so that is really not very nice to say that. I mean the facts are the facts, NOT EVERYONE GETS SICK FROM IMPLANTS! Granted I do not like her site either, I don't think that it is nice to say those things about someone. She has had implants for along time and seems happy and healthy. I know women with implants that are fine, I don't want to risk my health, but I would not wish sickness or say everyone will get sick either that is wrong. Elaine if Dr Huang is telling you to go to the internet to get informatioin from only one source s site, then she is not being straight with you. You need to get information from different sources, like this site and others that I know of. If you email me I can send you to a few different ones with good information and friendly people. take careSmile l love <briansgirl302@...> wrote: Lea, What is this about?
