Guest guest
Doctors in my network did not have the experience necessary for a complete and thorough explantation. Those with whom I spoke handed me the "party line" about no connection between physical symptoms and saline implants. One doctor's nurse gasped and said (since I am a biilateral mastectomy patient), "Do you know how ugly you wil be?" So, I decided to "go out of network", will be explanted by a surgeon recommended by Pierre Blais on Jan. 19. I wrote a letter of appeal to my insurance co. to ask for reimbursement for the surgery. They have denied it. But they have added that if I could find a doctor who would say there is a connection between nerological symptoms and implants, they would reconsider. Any idea about what I can do or to whom I should speak? If I can find a doctor who will stick his head out and say there seems to be a connection between saline implants and other illnesses, it might be helpful in this appeal.
