Guest guest
Hannah, Please read my story, under files, Beth. I started getting ill immediately. I have talked to many other women who also responded the same way. I have a lengthy report from Dr Blais as to why I got sick. He found Aspergillus (fungi)and Staff growing in my left implant. I have talked to many other women and found this to be very common. Implants sometimes leak, and they can leak infectious materials back into your body. Also, there are many chemicals in the shell, silicone, tin, you name it. This experience has cost my family thousands in healthcare. Knowing what I know now, I would never have any type of plastic surgery if I didn't have the extra funds to cover illness and other complications. In the end, you'll have to make that call. I've been told roughly 1/1000 women will get ill each year. That's a best guess because no one is keeping tabs on the women who do get sick. If 250,000 women are implanted every year, that's roughly 250 women who will get a devastating autoimmune illness, that's 250 families/significant others/children who will have their world turned upside down. It's a very serious decision, Best wishes > I guess i was thinking that since and a few others on here said they got sick at 7 or 8 years, or Daryl at what 10 years, that maybe if they had gotten them out sooner or replaced them they might not have grown things in them, fungals or what you are all taling about. > Do you know anyone with implants who is not ill? I have to admit at this point I am still leaning to get implants. It is just the only way to get in this business, and look at all the women that have them, Demi looks beautiful and very healthy, she has incredible hair, i think it is real anyway. >
