Guest guest
Glad to hear you got an appointment with Dr. Lee. Hang in there! I was once in the same situation as you are. All tests done on me came out negative. Doctors could not find anything wrong, so they gave me pain medication and sent me home. My doctor even suggested I might be suffering from depression, BULL! I knew it was the implants and they kept denying it. I finally took them out and I am getting better. The hardest part is the waiting and anticipation for surgery day. It will come sooner or later and it will be one of the happiest days of your life! I am just sure they are the culprits but can't get regular docs to acknowledge and all test results show everyting is normal. BULL!! How can I possibly feel so horrid and have perfectly normal results?
Guest guest
Dear Kathy, I went through the same thing. They said I was depressed and had fibromyalgia. My implnats remained in me another 2 to 3 years probably after rupture and they could find anything wrong but there was plenty wrong. In a way its good they can't find anything wrong, you could have greater hope in the future once you detox all the chemicals out and get on a healthy regimen. Drs. don't know where to look, is there problem. You'll educate yourself and eventually educate your drs. How is you ANA and sed rate? You can ask your drs. to give you those tests and an RA. Check your thyroid as well. Do you feel swollen? I just wanted to basically give you support. Getting ready for explant is a very important time. Make sure your dr. will remove capsules enbloc. Learn about what that means. Get the pathology report before leaving the hospital and your implants too. If you're going to sue your implants need to go to a third party, I don't know a lot about that. Your hospital may hold them for a certain amount of time, don't know. Dr. Blais, does examine implants to tell you what bacterias (etc., don't know a whole lot about this, but others do), are in them, so you can get on the right protocol. Live for today, knowing that you have arrived at a good place. At least you know what is making you sick now, and you can make the necessary arrangements to correct the problem. I know the feeling of urgency you feel, I was there too. Just focus on what you can resonably do in a day and it will all fall into place. It is more important to make good plans than to rush into this. God Bless, M <lauramsi@...> wrote: Glad to hear you got an appointment with Dr. Lee. Hang in there! Guest guest
Beth- Good luck with your surgery. I just had mine a little over two weeks ago. I already feel so much better. I knew it was not going to cure all of my symptoms overnight but a lot has changed in only two weeks. I had a lot of pain in the last year with my implants. My chest muscles always hurt and it felt like burning or itching pain inside my breasts constantly. That has stopped. My muscle twitching completely stopped as well. It is amazing. I know the stress relief you will have will do a lot for you. Just knowing that I will never have to deal with the worry or problems of implants again made me feel so much better. Good luck to you and take care of yourself for a speedy recovery! Christy
