Hi all, it's been a while since I last posted and I am sorry for that. I haven't

been doing so good. I have been so sick and unable to take care of myself, that

for the past month I stayed with my mom. She is a true godsend. Without her I

don't know what I would have done. I am slowly getting better and have started

staying home again. Hopefully I won't need to stay with mom again.

I have a couple of ???. I was wondering if anyone has been able to take remicade

without having to take MTX? MTX makes me very sick for three days after taking

it. I have been taking it for the past couple of years and when I had my knee

surgery I was off of it for a month. While off MTX I remembered how life was

before it. I don't really feel it doing anything for me so I feel why do I have

to take it. My doc has agreed to let me off it for now while we figure out

something else. I hope we can.

Now my other ???. For those who have been able to try tocilizumab, can it be

taken without MTX or do you have to take them together? My doc might let me it,

but I don't want to take it if I have to use MTX. If there is a med out there

that I can take (infusion only please) without the dreaded MTX could you please

let me know. I need to have something to discuss with my doc when I call them

back later this week. Thank you for all your help and I hope everyone is doing

well.

Sherry, Toledo
