I think it has become apparent that no matter how much we try to get through to

Cort, the man is too self-absorbed to allow himself to be open to others p.o.v.

Cort, you were quick to try to have the Board Members throw me out of the group

last weekend, and I must say it gave me a chuckle. But no matter how much you

agitate me you will never see me do the same.

Like Kirk, I served my country for 10 years and I would have gave my life in

defense of those that despise this country. ( Code Pink just pop in my mind and

yes I would of RELUCTANTLY die for them also!) But where I do draw the line is

where a person despises his country so much that he moves to Europe ( not only

did countless American soldiers died defending Europe, but the billions of U.S.

taxpayers money spent rebuilding western Europe ) so that Cort can now enjoy

that free medical care he's so fond of.

Cort, I suggest you read a book called The Sole Survivor by Marcus Luttrell, He

was a Navy Seal who's unit was trapped under heavy fire by the Taliban in the

mountains of Afghanistan and he was the only one to make it off the mountain

alive. It's an inspiring story, so give that a read, instead of reading material

that only supports your p.o.v.

Enough, already! I love this group for its active debate but can do

without all of the ridiculous drama and personal attacks. We should

all remember that we're getting a very FLAT picture of a person when

he/she posts here. No eye contact. No gestures. No facial

expressions. No tone of voice. How much can you " know " a person from

a listserv?

Could we please reign in some of the venom and get back to the

business of why we're all here--information, support, and shared

experiences.
