Dear Rogene --

I speak from my own sad experience that has taught me that drs do not

always recommend what is in the best interests of their patients. I

would not be sitting here agonizing over what to do and worrying

about puttting myself thru a marathon surgery if I had not been

mislead into thinking I was protecting myself by having my original

surgery.

Older and wiser is still not easier on the spirit and nerves. I wish

that COMPLETE AND ABSOLUTE INFORMED CONSENT were a legal requirement

before any surgery.
