I recently bought and consumed some raw milk and cheese and had some unusual symptoms and want to know what you experts think of them. Here is a similar email to one I also sent to the native-nutrition mailing list, so I am sorry if you get this twice. A short recent history of me: 1. Three months ago I had cleaning and x-rays at a traditional dentist; no new problems and I hadn't had an appointment in 18 months before then. After the cleaning I had no plaque I could visually detect. 2. A week and a half ago I started drinking a half-gallon of raw (unpasteurized) milk and eating some raw cheese, both from grass fed cows. This was based on WAPF advice. I finished the milk off last night and am still working on the cheese. 3. Towards the end of last week I went to a biological dentist to see about getting some old mercury-filled amalgam fillings replaced, again at WAPF advice. At this appointment, the dental assistant used a CariScreen device (which uses light somehow) to measure the amount of adenosine triphosphate in my mouth and said it was very large. The measure was 7500 Relative Light Units but I only that the manufacturer says I am at high risk for caries with this score. This has definitely increased a lot in one week. 5. Further, a pimple has shown up on my lower lip. The plaque growth and pimple coincide with starting to drink raw dairy.
